Professional Development for all of our staff is a priority. As a Trust we recognise that the development of quality first teaching, along with that of the curriculum, underpins the quality of education for all learners. We promote the six principles of effective teaching that are written into our Teaching and Learning Policy. We want to support our teachers to motivate pupils to achieve and enjoy learning. This year we are very excited to launch our Pedagogical Development Programme which will allow teachers to work across the MAT collaboratively to unpick what supports effective learning. We are pleased that are approach aligns with that of the EEF latest research on effective professional development.
